The Latest in GIS Technology

New World’s map-centric Aegis Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) utilizes ArcGIS® Server, the latest technology from ESRI® to provide mission critical geographical analysis and visual references for dispatchers and field personnel. Aegis CAD maps are easy to maintain through the use of industry-standard ArcGIS Desktop software and provide significantly greater functionality with advanced tools for optimal performance in map rendering. Users can also use embedded ESRI tools for crime analysis directly from New World’s Data Analysis and Mapping.

New World is an ESRI Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partner. This important partnership gives New World exclusive access to ESRI architecture and development personnel and full access to pre-release software, allowing New World to always be ahead of the curve in providing the expected GIS capabilities to customers.

Microsoft Reporting Architecture

New World Systems understands the ability to access information from public safety software is vital to efficient law enforcement operations, including criminal investigations and required state and federal reporting. Therefore, reporting should be effortless and incorporate the use of familiar applications you use each day.

The reporting architecture in Aegis Records Management (RMS) uses the latest Microsoft technology to provide customers a fast, stable reporting engine. Utilizing Microsoft’s Reporting Services and .NET framework, Aegis RMS report processing is done on the client instead of the server with zero impact on the performance of other critical applications, such as CAD. Built-in features automatically create PDFs, export to Microsoft Excel® and allow users to email reports with seamless integration to Microsoft Outlook®.
