Reynoldsburg, Ohio to improve city-wide efficiency with New World Systems solutions

New public administration software from an industry leader will help the City of Reynoldsburg, Ohio automate business processes, increase productivity and empower citizens with online access to government. The City has signed a contract to license New World Systems’ integrated Logos.NET® Public Administration suite of applications on the Microsoft.NET™ platform to replace an aging system.
After learning that support for their current solution would be discontinued, the City of Reynoldsburg conducted a thorough evaluation of solutions and vendors. The City was looking for a user-friendly solution, built on the latest technology, provided by a proven Company with experience in the State of Ohio. During the evaluation, New World Systems’ software and Company stability and reputation proved to be the best long-term solution for the City.
“We spent two years closely evaluating vendors and ultimately selected the best solution,” said Accounting Manager Joni Crawford. “Even during the first demonstration we thought New World’s software stood out as the most advanced and easiest to use. Their use of technology provides so many options for us to improve efficiency now and in the future.”
According to Crawford, after visiting several of New World’s customers the City was further impressed with the Company’s excellent reputation for service, support and continuous focus on software development.
“We were very concerned with selecting a solution and a company that would work for us long term”, said City Auditor Dick Harris. “The users agreed New World Systems’ software would be the easiest to use in the long term, and from a fiscal standpoint, it will save us money by automating many of our manual, time-consuming processes.”
New World Systems is providing the City of Reynoldsburg with completely integrated Financial Management, Payroll and Human Resources, Utility Management and eSuite software developed in-house using proven Microsoft.NET™ technology, industry-standard Windows® Server and SQL® Server. Built-in workflow and electronic approvals in New World’s software will automate budgeting and payroll for the City and allow them to eliminate redundant data entry and an abundance of paperwork that has become costly to print, process and file. The City is also looking forward to the ability to easily report on and analyze financial data with New World’s software.
The City of Reynoldsburg is planning to use New World’s eSuite software to provide citizens, vendors and employees online access to information and the ability to conduct business with the City online. New World’s solutions will help the City improve service to more than 33,000 residents and offer lasting support to ensure a long, successful partnership.
