New World’s software is developed in-house to provide customers with a fully integrated solution that increases

Aegis Public Safety Software
New World Systems’ Aegis Public Safety software is a fully integrated and comprehensive solution for Law
Enforcement, Fire and EMS, including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Law Enforcement & Fire Records
Management, Mobile Computing and Corrections Management. Each application integrates with each other,
working off a common database and providing full functionality between modules, providing public safety officials
with real-time, critical information and reducing data entry. The Aegis software provides fast, efficient dispatching,
and quick access to records, reports and databases. The suite is available on two platforms: Microsoft Windows®
2000 or IBM 400® platform.
CAD – Designed by dispatch personnel from Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS, CAD provides real-time, critical
response dispatch functions in both single- and multi-jurisdictional environments. When integrated with the Aegis
Records Management software a vital link exists between dispatch and the most comprehensive records database
available. Within seconds, the dispatch operator and the officer in the field can access critical information, such as
prior incidents, outstanding warrants, and gun registrations within seconds, increasing officer knowledge and
safety. CAD dramatically improves performance, response time and citizen safety.
Records Management – Provides a true information system that tracks statistical, operational, investigative and
management data for inquiry and reporting. The system creates an efficient case processing workflow and helps to
solve crimes with its accessible database that maintains central files on people, places, property, vehicles and
criminal activity.
Aegis Justice Link – Provides public safety agencies a true justice information sharing solution. It allows several
agencies using New World’s Records Management software or disparate systems to share critical records
regionally, countywide and statewide.
Mobile Computing – Provides instant access to local, state, regional and federal databases via laptop computers.
Officers can experience the benefits of obtaining critical, real-time information in the field, while saving time by
preparing reports directly in car.
Corrections Management – The system documents and manages information that meets the requirements of a
modern jail facility. This includes the booking and housing of persons in custody, supervising defendants on a pre-
trial release, maintaining offenders sentenced to local incarceration and billing other agencies for housing inmates.
Logos Public Administration Software
New World’s Logos suite of Public Administration software satisfies the fund accounting needs of city and county
governments, providing modules for financial management, human resources, payroll, utility information and
community development. Logos is completely modular, so agencies only need to license the modules they
currently require, and implement additional modules as needs arise. The system runs on either the browser-based
Microsoft .Net or the IBM 400 platform.
Financial Management – The system provides online inquiries and comprehensive reports that share essential
financial and budgeting information with management and other applications. The flexible account structure
provides a robust financial system that meets government financial reporting guidelines, including GASB 34. The
foundation for a successful financial system includes the following components incorporated in the Logos Financial
Management base package: general ledger, budgetary reporting, annual budget processing, requisition processing,
purchasing, accounts payable and revenue accounting. Additional modules are also available.
Payroll and Human Resources – Provides an effective and efficient method of managing both payroll and
personnel activities, including accrual, earnings, deductions, benefits, education, certification and much more.
Saves time and money by automatically generating labor distribution and streamlining data entry.
Utility Management – Developed for organizations and departments that provide water, sewer, electric, gas, or
other related services, the Utility Management software provides a comprehensive set of software tools to help
manage this important revenue generating department. The software has the ability to bill customers, track
balances, interface with PC meter-read, perform budget billings and monitor consumption, billing and adjustments.
It supports residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Community Development – Enhances community services and improves internal productivity. Administrators
can easily manage all aspects of these important processes through integration with Financial Management suite.
eSuite – The industry’s first truly anytime-anywhere eGov solution. Developed using Microsoft® .Net architecture,
it is an easy to use, browser-based solution, which includes Financial Management, Human Resources, Utility
Management and Community Development. It provides citizens access to information via the Internet, including
job openings, utility bills, permits and license renewal or status and more. It also supports applying for jobs via the
Internet, paying bills or permits and license fees. Whether you are a government official or a citizen, it provides
